E F I supply the most robust tool connection conduits in the industry.

In our experience, around 50% of all control problems are caused by faults with the cables, typically the cable pulling away from the connector hood.

E F I conduits are supplied using industrial fireproof, chemical resistant tubing and full swivel mountings which cannot come away.

Conduits are normally supplied 4m in length and wired to customers specification. Longer lengths can be supplied at no extra cost.

When specifying conduits, please remember to supply the following information: -

  • Length of conduits. Note that longer lengths may be required on stack tools.
  • Type of connector hood: Side or top entry. Single or Dual lever.
  • Type of insert at each end: Number of pins, Screw or Crimp insert, Male or female polarity.
  • Insert wiring: Pin to pin wiring details.
  • Whether coding pins are required.

Note that cables are normally wired for the number of zones specified on the system. Please specify if you require all pins to be wired.

Heater connection cables are normally wired with conductor cables rated for either cavity (8A) or manifold use (16A). Please specify if you require different cable rating.

Thermocouple conduits use twisted thermocouple cable specified by IEC575 where black is positive and white is negative.
